Macadamia Nut Oil
Macadamia Nut Oil (Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil) derived from the nuts of the native Australian plant, Macadamia. Despite being nut derived, there is very minimal risk of an allergic reaction, even if you have a tree nut allergy.

Macadamia oil is rich in fatty acids and potassium that bind to hair and make it stronger and easier to manage. It is a very lightweight oil that works well for fine hair types as it hydrates the hair without leaving it feeling heavy and greasy. Its concentration of palmitoleic acid, in particular, makes it a popular ingredient in products that are meant to smooth the hair.

Macadamia Nut Oil Benefits for Hair
1. Strengthens Hair
This oil works well for those with damaged or vulnerable hair. Its fatty acids and vitamin content are great for strengthening weaker hair and infuse into the cuticles of your hair. Macadamia oil also contains antioxidants, which help hair to recover from environmental exposure to things like pollutants in the air.

2. Smooths hair
The emollient qualities of macadamia oil can help smooth hair, giving it a shinier appearance. Macadamia oil helps to give the hair sheen and become glossier over time. For curly hair and textured hair types, it can be an especially valuable tool to combat frizz and flyaways.

3. Hydrates hair
Macadamia oil is effective at restoring moisture levels in the hair shaft, sealing moisture within the cuticle and providing added natural protein. This makes hair moisturised and easier to untangle and style.
